PRIMO 2024 | Advancements and challenges in CAR-T cell therapy

Manmeet Ahluwalia, MD, MBA, FASCO, Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute, Kendall, FL, discusses the advancements and challenges in CAR-T cell therapy. Dr Ahluwalia discusses the evolving strategies to overcome resistance, including co-administration of anti-CD19 and anti-CD22 therapies, as well as the exploration of upfront CAR-T cell therapy in treatment paradigms. He emphasizes the importance of improving efficacy and durability of response in CAR-T cell therapy to enhance patient outcomes. This interview took place at the 2024 PRIMO meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii.
