AACR 2025 | NERO: niraparib in relapsed, pre-treated mesothelioma
Dean Fennell, FRCP, PhD, University of Leicester, Leicester, UK, discusses findings from the Phase II NERO trial (NCT05455424) of niraparib in relapsed mesothelioma following platinum-based therapy. Niraparib plus active symptom control improved progression-free survival versus symptom control alone. Multiomic analyses revealed that response to niraparib correlated with interferon α transcription and MTAP deletion. This interview took place at American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2025 in Chicago, IL.
