NCRI 2018 | Molecular imaging to determine the efficacy of immunotherapy

Sanjiv Sam Gambhir, MD, PhD, from Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CA, discusses the applications of molecular imaging in immunotherapy assessment. Prof. Gambhir presents findings that indicate the uses of molecular imaging in order to determine CAR T-cell engagement with tumor cells, and in finding activated T-cells through the injection of tagged molecules. Evidence for these findings are presented, and signify exciting prospects for the use of molecular imaging in assessing patient response to immunotherapy. This video was recorded at the 2018 National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Cancer Conference, held in Glasgow, UK.
