WCLC 2024 | MARIPOSA: longer-term follow-up of amivantamab & lazertinib in EGFR-m NSCLC
Shirish Gadgeel, MD, Henry Ford Cancer Institute/Henry Ford Health, Detroit, MI, discusses updated findings from the Phase III MARIPOSA study (NCT04487080) of amivantamab and lazertinib versus osimertinib in treatment-naïve, EGFR-mutated advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). With a median follow-up of 31.1 months, amivantamab and lazertinib improved progression-free survival and post-progression outcomes compared to osimertinib. A favorable trend in overall survival was observed, supporting amivantamab and lazertinib as a first-line treatment for EGFR-mutated NSCLC. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
