Hedyeh Ebrahimi, MD, MPH, City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, Duarte, CA, discusses updated outcomes from a Phase I trial (NCT05122546) of cabozantinib and nivolumab with or without CBM588, a live bacterial product, in metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC). The addition of CBM588 was associated with higher response rates and prolonged progression-free survival compared to cabozantinib and nivolumab alone. The combination maintained a manageable safety profile, with no new safety signals observed. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
