ISOPP 2021 | Novel dosing strategies for immune checkpoint inhibitors

Alison Palumbo, PharmD, MPH, BCOP, Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, OR, provides an overview of a workshop on novel dosing strategies for immune checkpoint inhibitors that took place at the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP) 2021 Virtual Symposium. She describes discussions that took place at the workshop on the pros and cons of weight-based dosing vs flat-fixed dosing of pembrolizumab in different clinical scenarios, as well as the lack of data on discontinuation or intermittent dosing of immune checkpoint inhibitors.
