ELCC 2025 | Management of immune-related adverse events in SCLC

Suresh Senan, MRCP, FRCR, PhD, Amsterdam University Medical Centers, Amsterdam, Netherlands, describes management strategies for adverse events related to checkpoint inhibitors in small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Comprehensive support systems for patients undergoing cancer treatment are important, as well as oncology nurses to brief and counsel patients. This approach has been successfully implemented in other cancer types, such as non-small cell lung cancer, and has established a well-established system of clinical support on an outpatient basis. This interview took place at the European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC) 2025 in Paris, France.
