GU Cancers 2025 | ADCs for the treatment of bladder cancer in the neoadjuvant setting

Di Jiang, MD, Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, Canada, describes the role of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) in early-stage bladder cancer. Single agent ADCs have produced positive data in the perioperative setting. Disitamab vedotin (DV) and toripalimab combination therapy was very promising in patients with HER2+ muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), suggesting ADCs could replace neoadjuvant chemotherapy and cisplatin eligibility criteria, and eventually leading to increased systemic treatment accessibility and improved rates of remission. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
