Robert Olson, MD, BC Cancer, Prince George, Canada, comments on the need for future stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) trial of multiple lesions to be followed for up to 5 years, given results from the SABR-5 trial (NCT02933242) which showed ongoing toxicity for up to 5 years. Prof. Olson also highlights a need for patient reported outcomes to consider the location of toxicities to guide trial design for different tumor sites.
