ESTRO 2026 | Does toxicity differ between patients treated with SABR for one versus five lesions?

Robert Olson, MD, BC Cancer, Prince George, Canada, discusses the profile of patients recruited for the SABR-5 trial of stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) in patients with up to 5 oligometastases, highlighting that most patients had 1 or 2 lesions. As such, there is not enough data to compare toxicity between patients with one versus five lesions treated. This interview took place at the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology 2026 Congress in Stockholm, Sweden.
