AACR 2025 | Evaluating the role of pan-RAF inhibitors in BRAF-mutant NSCLC

Tadashi Manabe, MD, PhD, University of California, San Francisco, CA, suggests that exarafenib could be a first-choice treatment for patients with BRAF Class II and III alterations, as well as those with Class I alterations who have developed resistance to first-generation RAF inhibitors. The efficacy of exarafenib against dimerized BRAF oncoproteins, which are often resistant to first-generation RAF inhibitors, presents an opportunity to treat patients who have developed resistance to these earlier therapies. This interview took place at American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2025 in Chicago, IL.
