NCRI 2018 | Determining the top ten research priorities in cancer survivorship

Galina Velikova, PhD, of the University of Leeds, Leeds, UK, provides an overview of the consultation process that led to the determination of the NCRI’s top ten research priorities in cancer survivorship. Intrigued by the results of the research priorities, Prof. Velikova also highlights those that were most important, as identified from the process. Here, models of care, coordination between primary and secondary care faculties, as well as management of long-term side effects from cancer therapies are discussed. This video was recorded at the 2018 National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Cancer Conference, held in Glasgow, UK.
