Lucy Kennedy, MD, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, discusses the potential of incorporating AdAPT-001, an novel oncolytic adenovirus combined with a TGF-β trap, into the current treatment landscape for patients with solid tumors who have progressed on checkpoint inhibitors. As durable responses were recorded in a Phase I/II trial (NCT04673942), the investigatory treatment is a promising option in this field. A Phase II trial is being planned, with a separate sarcoma cohort. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
