Yelena Janjigian, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, comments on combining tumor-specific biomarkers (microsatellite instability) with circulating tumor cells (ctDNA) to select patients for adjuvant therapy. This innovative approach leverages both tumor-specific and liquid biopsy data to improve patient selection.
