Michael Roth, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, describes the progress made in survival outcomes for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer, but highlights the need for continued research to address gaps in care and outcomes, particularly in terms of care delivery, quality of care, and tailored resources for the younger population. Dr Roth notes that attention is being increasingly focused on the AYA population, but more work is needed to ensure access to high-quality support and resources throughout the cancer journey. This interview took place at American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2025 in Chicago, IL.
