Ankur Sharma, PhD, Curtin University, Perth, Australia, discusses the onco-fetal tumor microenvironment, which is reprogramming of the tumor microenvironment with fetal-like characteristics. This leads to an immunosuppressive microenvironment, allowing for the growth of tumor cells. This interview took place at the Molecular Analysis for Precision oncology (MAP) Congress 2022 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
