Timothy Yap, MBBS, PhD, FRCP, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses early findings from a first-in-human Phase I study (NCT06270706) of PLN-101095 with or without pembrolizumab in advanced solid tumors refractory to prior immune checkpoint inhibitors. This first-in-class dual αvβ8/αvβ1 integrin inhibitor demonstrated a manageable safety profile, encouraging early antitumor activity, and evidence of immune activation in heavily pretreated patients. This interview took place at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2026 in San Diego, CA.
