Umang Swami, MD, MS, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, discusses the molecular and immunologic nuances of metastatic prostate cancer in a real-world dataset. Visceral metastases exhibited higher mutation rates in various genes compared to non-visceral and primary prostate cancer. Visceral and non-visceral metastases also showed elevated androgen receptor signaling, interferon-γ scores, and PD-L1 positivity.
