The Young Oncologists groups at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) meetings aim to help support younger specialists in the field. Fatima Cardoso, MD, from the Champalimaud Clinical Cancer Centre, Lisbon, Portugal explains to us the problems that young oncologists face, describes how these groups work to benefit them and tells us why it is so important to invest in their future. This interview was recorded at the 2017 ESMO conference held in Madrid, Spain.
