ESMO 2026 | Subsequent treatment options for endometrial cancer after immunotherapy

Brian Slomovitz, MD, Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center, Miami, FL, discusses the potential subsequent therapies for endometrial cancer, highlighting the opportunity to use chemotherapy later on if necessary and the emerging options such as antibody drug conjugates and hormonal-based therapies. While the role of immunotherapy (IO) after IO has not been established in prospective trials, some clinicians are using it in certain settings, such as dMMR, with promising results. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
