Brian Slomovitz, MD, Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center, Miami, FL, discusses results from the Phase III KEYNOTE-C93/GOG-3064/ENGOT-en15 study (NCT05173987), which compared first-line pembrolizumab with carboplatin plus paclitaxel in mismatch repair-deficient (dMMR) advanced or recurrent endometrial carcinoma. Pembrolizumab significantly improved progression-free survival, with a favorable overall survival trend, better quality of life and fewer severe treatment-related adverse events. No new safety signals emerged, supporting single-agent pembrolizumab as a chemotherapy-free option for this population. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
