ICHNO-ECHNO 2022 | Current uses of AI in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer

Cesare Piazza, MD, University of Brescia, Brescia, Italy, talks on artificial intelligence in cancer care and discusses the wide range of possible applications of this technology. Currently, artificial intelligence is not widely used in the clinical setting and a key area of research is working on how to develop an artificial intelligence system that is as effective as (or better than) a human at doing certain tasks. This interview took place at the joint International Congress on Innovative Approaches in Head and Neck Oncology and the European Congress on Head and Neck Oncology (ICHNO-ECHNO) 2022 hybrid meeting in Brussels, Belgium.
