ICCN 2022 | Top priorities for the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care

Patsy Yates, AM, PhD, RN, FACN, FAAN, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, discusses some of the key areas of focus going forward for the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC). She highlights the importance of developing educational programs for the nursing community to drive the understanding of cancer treatment and prevention, the generation of practice guidelines, the continued publication of position statements around the role of the cancer nurse and the ISNCC’s ongoing work with partnered nursing organizations and colleagues. This interview took place at the virtual 2022 International Conference on Cancer Nursing (ICCN).
