Patsy Yates, AM, PhD, RN, FACN, FAAN, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, describes an educational program for cancer nurses, developed through a partnership between the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC) and the City Cancer Foundation (C/Can), which focused on innovative approaches to building global partnerships and cancer nursing leadership in low- and middle-income countries. The program aimed to help nurses working at a community level to build their leadership skills and further develop their role in the navigation of patients through complex cancer systems, together aiming to enhance patient outcomes. This interview took place at the virtual 2022 International Conference on Cancer Nursing (ICCN).
