ASCO 2021 | Underrepresented in medicine: training as a Latin American woman

‘The face of medicine is changing and there is a space for everyone’. Narjust Duma, MD, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, WI, outlines her talk ‘My White Coat Doesn’t Fit’, presented at part of ASCO voices 2021. The compelling ASCO voices session features personal stories from across the oncology continuum. Dr Duma shares her experiences of questioning her identify as a Latin American woman during her medical training. This interview took place at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2021 Virtual Meeting.
