ASCO 2025 | Phase II trial of telisotuzumab adizutecan in HER2- G/GEJ cancer & GEA
Kohei Shitara, MD, National Cancer Center Hospital East, Kashiwa, Japan, provides an overview of a Phase II trial (NCT06628310), which investigates telisotuzumab adizutecan (Temab-A) with fluorouracil, leucovorin, and budigalimab in patients with treatment naïve, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic gastric, gastroesophageal junction, or esophageal adenocarcinoma (G/GEJ/GEA). The study assesses safety, tolerability, and efficacy to determine a recommended Phase III dose. Biomarker analyses will explore the impact of MET alterations and c-Met expression on treatment response, aiming to improve outcomes in a population with limited options. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
