KEYNOTE-522 OPT-PEMBRO

Joana Ribeiro, MD, Institut Gustave Roussy, Villejuif, France, provides an overview of the OPT-PEMBRO trial (NCT06606730), which investigates the optimal post-neoadjuvant treatment with immunotherapy in patients who have achieved a pathological complete response (pCR). The trial aims to determine whether six additional months of pembrolizumab are necessary in these patients, as the KEYNOTE-522 trial (NCT03036488) did not provide a clear answer to this question, This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
