The development of a biosimilar requires that the molecule undergoes extensive trials. In this video, Wojciech Jurczak, MD, PhD, from the Jagiellonian University, Kopernika, Poland explains to us the purpose of biosimilar trials, and discusses the impact that the introduction of biosimilars can have in both high and low wealth populations. This interview was recorded at the 2017 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) conference held in Madrid, Spain.
