ESMO Asia 2023 | Immunotherapy in gynecological cancers

Sola Adeleke, MBBS, PhD, King’s College London, London, UK, introduces his recent review paper on the treatment options in non-ovarian gynecological cancers. Since most of the current research on immunotherapies in gynecological cancers has been focused on cervical or endometrial cancer, the role of immunotherapy in ovarian cancer remains an unmet need; this should be addressed to consider the treatment of this group of cancers as a whole. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Asia 2023 Congress in Singapore.
