ESMO 2022 | Interpreting real-world data to better manage patients with mCRC

Chiara Cremolini, MD, PhD, University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, provides an overview of the of real-world data in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), highlighting its use as post-marketing data which may make clinicians more confident in the use of novel therapies. Obtaining real-world data allows the collation of more information in heterogenous populations, provides information on long-term follow-up as well as a better understanding of clinical outcomes in underrepresented populations. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2022 Congress in Paris, France.
