ESMO 2024 | NKT2152, an oral HIF-2α inhibitor, in pre-treated advanced clear cell renal carcinoma

Jonathan Rosenberg, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, comments on results from a Phase I/II trial (NCT05119335) evaluating NKT2152, an oral HIF-2α inhibitor, in patients with advanced clear cell renal carcinoma (accRCC) who had undergone extensive prior treatments. NKT2152 demonstrated promising anti-tumor activity, particularly in patients without prior mTOR inhibitor therapy. The safety profile aligned with expectations for this drug class, and no maximum tolerated dose was identified. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
