BNOS 2022 | Redefining glioblastoma to improve patient outcomes

Whilst the perceived overall survival of glioblastoma tends to be inferior to other cancers, patients outcomes are similar when compared to other stage 4 cancers. Simon Lammy, MBBS, MRCS (Ed), MFST (Ed), University of Glasgow, Glasgow, UK, describes strategies to optimize clinical outcomes in patients with glioblastoma. Full access to the brain remains a challenge even with detailed MRI and reassessing the nature of the disease itself may provide fresh perspectives in treating glioblastoma. This interview took place at the British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) Annual Meeting 2022.
