WCLC 2026 | TAISHAN-302: tambotatug pelitecan versus topotecan in relapsed SCLC

Anne Chiang, MD, PhD, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, presents results from Phase III TAISHAN-302 trial (NCT06612151) of tambotatug pelitecan (Tam-Peli), a novel anti-B7-H3 antibody-drug conjugate, versus topotecan in relapsed small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Tam-Peli demonstrated statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in overall survival, progression-free survival, and objective response rate compared with topotecan, with a manageable safety profile, supporting its potential as a new standard-of-care second-line treatment option for relapsed SCLC. This interview took place at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
