Guillermo de Velasco, MD, PhD, Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Madrid, Spain, comments on the emerging role of belzutifan in earlier treatment for clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). While some patients may benefit, its role in earlier treatment settings remains uncertain until the results from the LITESPARK-011 trial (NCT04586231) of belzutifan plus lenvatinib versus cabozantinib are available. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
