SITC 2023 | Advances in immunotherapy for prostate cancer at SITC 2023

Russell Pachynski, MD, Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, MO, outlines advances in immunotherapy presented at the 2023 Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) meeting. He is anticipating improvements in CAR cell engineering to increase efficacy and reduce side effects, as well as increased interest in immunocytokines to reduce tocixcity and improve targeting to tumor microenvironments (TIMEs) rather than systemic action. Dr Pachynski looks forward to the clinical applications of these advancements. This interview took place at the SITC 38th Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA.
