BTOG 2023 | CheckMate 816: what does the data tell us?

Riyaz Shah, BSc(Hons), MBBS, FRCP, PhD, Kent Oncology Centre, Maidstone, UK, discusses the fundamental contribution of the CheckMate 816 trial (NCT02998528) in discerning the preoperative efficacy outcomes of three neoadjuvant chemotherapy cycles. Dr Shah highlights that although no new data was presented at the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Annual Conference 2023, a poster reaffirming the treatments pathological complete response (CR) rate and event-free survival was presented at the conference.
