ASCO 2024 | Phase I/II trial of AdAPT-001, an oncolytic virus, and a checkpoint inhibitor in solid tumors

Lucy Kennedy, MD, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, presents findings from a Phase I/II trial (NCT04673942) of AdAPT-001, an oncolytic virus combined with a TGF-β trap, with a checkpoint inhibitor in various immune refractory solid tumors such as sarcoma, breast cancer and melanoma. Combination therapy of AdAPT-001 with a checkpoint inhibitor resulted in promising response rates, where TGF-β activity was suppressed. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
