Guru Sonpavde, MD, AdventHealth Cancer Institute, Orlando, FL, gives an overview of updated findings from the Phase III AMBASSADOR trial (NCT03244384), which assessed adjuvant pembrolizumab in patients with muscle-invasive and locally advanced urothelial carcinoma (MIUC) of the bladder. Pembrolizumab continues to have superior survival outcomes and the trial is the second trial to assess an adjuvant PD-1 inhibitor in this setting after the CheckMate 274 trial (NCT02632409). This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
