WCLC 2024 | Novel perioperative strategies for non-small cell lung cancer

Paul van Schil, MD, PhD, University Hospital Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium, gives an overview treatment options for non-small cell lung cancer in the perioperative setting, which should incorporate a multidisciplinary approach. New classifications guidelines have distinguished N2a and N2b, where N2b stage lung cancer will benefit from multimodal treatment including induction chemotherapy. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
