Shalini Vinod, MBBS, MD, University of New South Wales, Liverpool, Australia, comments on how a nurse-led geriatric oncology model of care (NL-GOMOC) for patients with lung cancer can be successfully implemented in the clinic. Stakeholder engagement across everyone involved in the care of elderly patients, as well as surveys to elucidate unmet needs these patients may have are critical to get engagement from healthcare providers.
