ESMO 2024 | Phase I/II trial of GV20-0251, a novel checkpoint inhibitor, in solid tumors

General Antibodies Checkpoint Inhibitors GV20-0251

Anna Maria Di Giacomo, MD, University Hospital of Siena, Siena, Italy, explores the Phase I/II study (NCT05669430) of GV20-0251, a novel IGSF8 immune checkpoint inhibitor, in patients with advanced solid tumors. GV20-0251 enhances NK cell cytotoxicity and T cell signaling, and the drug was well-tolerated with no dose-limiting toxicities. The preliminary results overall indicate safety and early efficacy, supporting further investigation of GV20-0251 in solid tumors. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
