ESMO 2024 | The future of antibody-drug conjugates in urothelial carcinoma

Jonathan Rosenberg, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, comments on unanswered questions in the field of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for urothelial carcinoma. Future ADCs under development need to have fewer toxicities, such as dermatologic immune-related adverse events and mucositis in the case of FGFR3-targeting ADCs. More second-line options are additionally needed, and more research is needed on the role of nectin-4 ADCs in the refractory setting. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
