Julian Kӧtt, MD, University Medical Center Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany, highlights the need for additional prospective data to analyze the metastasis progression and overall survival of patients with high-risk melanoma. Gene expression profiling (GEP) has demonstrated promising results in the detection of high-risk melanoma and protein signatures from GEP can be used to provide more personalized treatment options for patients in the future. This interview took place at The European Congress on Dermato-Oncology 2024 in Vienna, Austria.
