SABCS 2024 | TGFβi NKs with naxitamab and gemcitabine for GD2+ breast cancer

Margaret Gatti-Mays, MD MPH, Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, introduces a Phase Ib/II trial (NCT06026657), which investigated the efficacy of ex vivo expanded allogenic universal donor TGFβi natural killer (NK) cells with gemcitabine chemotherapy and naxitamab, an anti-GD2 antibody, in patients with metastatic HER2-, GD2-expressing breast cancer. Naxitamab was employed to increase antigen presentation and the TGFβi NK cells enhanced the activity of chemotherapy with gemcitabine. This interview took place at 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) congress in San Antonio, TX.
