SITC 2024 | Promising clinical efficacy of mitazalimab + mFOLFIRINOX for advanced pancreatic cancer

Karen Geboes, MD, PhD, UZ Ghent – University Hospital Gent, Gent, Belgium, shares her excitement for the promising preliminary results from the Phase Ib/II OPTIMIZE-1 trial (NCT04888312) of mitazalimab and modified FOLFIRINOX for metastatic pancreatic cancer. The advent of a Phase III trial in the future could confirm and demonstrate the superiority of this combination therapy compared to standard treatment to increase progression-free survival (PFS) and improve patient quality of life. This interview took place at the 39th Annual Meeting of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer 2024, Houston, TX.
