Roger Li, MD, H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, FL, comments on the potential of combining oncolytic virus therapy with neoadjuvant chemotherapy for bladder cancer, highlighting the feasibility of preserving the bladder in patients achieving a pathologic complete response. Dr Li suggests that this approach could further increase response rates and improve patient outcomes, particularly in terms of bladder preservation.
