Wolfgang Janni, MD, PhD, University of Ulm, Ulm, Germany, discusses liquid biopsy-guided surveillance in the SURVIVE study (NCT05658172) for early breast cancer. Patients are randomised between standard care surveillance and intensified surveillance using liquid biopsy, identifying patients with molecular relapse and no distant metastasis for interventional trials including TREAT ctDNA (NCT05512364) and SURVIVE HERoes trials. This interview took place at the 2025 St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Consensus Meeting in Vienna, Austria.
