Orit Kaidar-Person, MD, Sheba Medical Center, Ramat Gan, Israel, discusses the benefits of regional node irradiation in all patients with node-positive breast cancer and low volume nodal disease. A single macrometastasis or micrometastasis can lead to a reduction in breast cancer mortality and recurrence rates, which provides strong evidence for the value of regional node irradiation in this patient population. This interview took place at the 2025 St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Consensus Meeting in Vienna, Austria.
