ASCO 2025 | Phase I trial of intracranial B7H3 CAR-T therapy in recurrent glioblastoma

Reena Thomas, MD, PhD, Stanford University, Stanford, CA, discusses a Phase I trial (NCT05474378) of intracranial B7H3-directed CAR-T cell therapy in patients with recurrent glioblastoma. B7H3-CART was delivered via intratumoral and intraventricular routes following surgical resection. The treatment showed manageable neurotoxicity and promising survival signals, with the recommended Phase II dose established. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
