ASCO 2025 | C-144-01: 5-year findings of lifileucel in pre-treated advanced melanoma

Theresa Medina, MD, University of Colorado Comprehensive Cancer Center, Aurora, CO, discusses the Phase II C-144-01 trial (NCT02360579) of lifileucel, a tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy, in patients with advanced melanoma previously treated with PD-1 inhibitors and targeted therapies. At five years, durable responses and sustained survival were observed, with no new safety concerns emerging over time. These results highlight the potential of lifileucel to offer long-term clinical benefit in a heavily pre-treated, refractory population following a single infusion. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
